Mr. Martin teaches seventh and eighth grade math and computers in grades K-8. This is his third year at Stella Maris Academy and his ninth year teaching. Prior to teaching, Mr. Martin was an attorney practicing environmental law. Mr. Martin attended UCSD (B.A.), University of Oregon (J.D.), University of Utah (LL.M.) and SDSU (teacher education program). He was born and raised in La Mesa. He is excited to be teaching in this wonderful community filled with natural beauty and caring students, parents and faculty. Mr. Martin enjoys photography, hiking, nature and computers. He collects vintage computers, calculators, cameras, bicycles, typewriters and other technology. (Be sure to check out the museum.) He lives in La Mesa with his wife, two sons, two dogs, and Wilbur the tarantula.
