Regular school hours are 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. for Kindergarten through 8th Grade. School is dismissed at 12:30 P.M. on Fridays for Faculty In-Service.

Mrs. McGarry teaches art in all grades at Stella Maris Academy, as well as coordinating the volunteer art literacy program. She holds both Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Art Education. She and her husband John live in La Jolla with their two children, Lauren and Conrad, and their dog Rocky. Lauren is in eleventh grade at the Academy of Our Lady of Peace and Conrad is in tenth grade at St. Augustine High School. Both children are proud graduates of Stella Maris Academy.
