Regular school hours are 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. for Kindergarten through 8th Grade. School is dismissed at 12:30 P.M. on Fridays for Faculty In-Service.

Mrs. Deines was born and raised in San Diego County. She attended Cal State San Marcos where she received her BA in Liberal Studies and a Teaching Credential. After her internships in the Carlsbad and Oceanside school districts, Miss McClain taught kindergarten in Carlsbad. Before coming to Stella Maris Academy, Miss McClain was a math and language arts intervention teacher in the Escondido School District. She is very excited to have found a home at Stella Maris and is looking forward to continuing to build wonderful relationships with the students, parents, and staff during her third year at Stella Maris Academy.
