7th Grade Religion
Jackie Kain grew up in San Diego, attending elementary through high school in the Bonita/Chula Vista area. She received a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Azusa Pacific University in 2005. After graduating, Jackie worked as a marketing and trade show coordinator for 4 years before moving to Taiwan to teach English. Upon her return to the U.S., she enrolled in the teaching credential program at San Diego State University. During the credential program, Jackie was a student teacher in a Kindergarten/1st grade combination classroom and a 3rd grade classroom. Jackie received her multiple-subject teaching credential from SDSU in May 2011. This is Jackie's first year at Stella Maris Academy. She is enjoying teaching 7th grade Religion and working as the Teacher Assistant in grades K-3.
