My name is Kevin Dunn and I will be the TK-8 Spanish and 7th Grade Religion teacher. Before Stella Maris, I taught high school Spanish and Religious Studies at Archbishop Mitty HS in San Jose, CA for eight years and before that I taught those subjects in Washington, DC (St. John’s College HS,) and St, Augustine, FL (St. Joseph Academy). I majored in Spanish and Political Science at the University of Notre Dame for undergrad and then earned a Master of Education from Notre Dame through its service/teaching program called the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE). My Spanish improved leaps and bounds when I studied in Toledo, Spain for an academic year in college. Recently I earned a Certificate in Catholic Leadership from Santa Clara University. I have two children, Rory and Teddy, and a lovely wife, Katie. My wife is from San Diego and attended University of San Diego High School. I grew up in Illinois and have attended Catholic schools my entire life.
