Regular school hours are 8:15 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. for Kindergarten through 8th Grade. School is dismissed at 12:30 p.m. on Fridays for Faculty In-Service.

Marsha Ostertag graduated California State University Hayward in 1992, with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. She was accepted into their Teacher Preparation Program and graduated in 1993, with a Multi-Subject Teaching Credential. Her teaching background includes being a Gate Teacher, teaching Math and Science to 7th and 8th Grade, teaching 4th and 5th Grade, and now teaching 3rd Grade. She received a Master’s Degree from Loyola Marymount University in 2005 and is now a certified Reading Specialist. This is her eighth year teaching 3rd Grade at Stella Maris Academy.
